Slide 1: make the promise specific
Tell the reader what this carousel is about. A useful hook makes a clear promise the following slides can keep. For example: “A simpler way to turn one article into social posts.” Keep the first hook within 100 characters.
Slide 2: give the reader a reason to continue
Add the tension, context or first useful insight. Avoid repeating the first slide in different words. For example: “Prepare the short version while the article is still fresh.” This hook also has a 100-character limit.
Slides 3 onward: one idea at a time
Supply one to seven content slides. Each has a title of up to 65 characters and a body of up to 240 characters. Short paragraphs are easier to scan than one dense block.
Character limits help you write, but they do not guarantee every combination fits. Preview the rendered result and shorten any field that produces a layout error.
End with one next step
The closing slide comes from your saved brand settings. Invite readers to your newsletter and tell them where to find the link. For Instagram, use a clear link-in-bio instruction. For a platform with a caption link, make the wording match that destination.
